We are an umbrella over adoption and foster care in the state of Wisconsin, providing information and referral at every stage of the process, recruiting homes for children in need and offering support to adoptive and foster families and the professionals who support them. Since our creation in 1984, we have facilitated more than 1,800 adoptions and hundreds of foster home placements. In the process, we have saved Wisconsin taxpayers more than $88 million in court and administrative costs, based on a very conservative estimate of $5,000 per child per year.
